Colored pencil, gouache, and oil pastel on paper
An 8-page accordion book based on an illustrated poem I wrote about the memories, passing, and recollection of a loved one. This poem is inspired by Hindu tradition of Shradhha, in which we feed crows, the reincarnates of our ancestors and the carriers of our lineage.
The process of creating this book is documented in the first craft issue of my newsletter, Dear Somebody.
A limited edition of the book, assembled, signed, and numbered by hand, is now available in my shop.
